96% on RT. I think it's safe to say this will be the first DC I will enjoy in a long time.

As someone who loves superheroes, loves when they succeed, specifically loves this character, and hasn't liked a DC film besides LEGO Batman since Dark Knight...

The positivity around this film is bringing me so much joy.

I hope this movie destroys at the box office off the strength of this positive buzz.

I'm guessing with these really good reviews it will open a little above the previous $110 million forecast. I think it could go for $135 million OW

I'd love that, but even if it doesn't, I think it's gonna have longer legs than some blockbusters. I could see this being the opposite of BvS's massive debut and sharp decline.

The whole review is terrible. The title alone is just AWFUL. Not sure how a platform like The Guardian employs that kinda person.

    I do not exist.

I don't know if you have this in the US but there's a series of jokes here in the UK that usually involve people of different nationalities (ie. an Englishmen, an Irishmen and a Scotsmen were in a bar...) These jokes usually involve three different nationalities and make fun of stereotypes. Not defending the review because it seems like an anomaly in a ocean of good reviews at the moment, just explaining the reference to a joke. Pretty poor in a review but there you go.

I'm familiar with this kind of joke, but man, jumping straight to that sorta humor as soon as 3 nationalities are mentioned is just the worst, especially in 2017.

This is a world war. Two of those are underrepresented minority groups. I haven't seen the film yet, but if they didn't slip into gross stereotypes, that inclusion in the supporting cast should be celebrated, not seen as a dang joke. Like, come on, y'know?

I don't wanna waste too much time on this isolated dummy in this thread, but I happened to see that this author wrote an article on Asian representation in light of Ghost in the Shell that danced around how much of a problem that really is. What an idiot.

Yeah I guarantee it. With reviews this good I don't expect a big drop after the OW. Hopefully this will influence DC to make a sequel sooner rather than later.

These positive reviews are making me so happy. Currently sitting at a 97 on rotten tomatoes. Can't wait to see this on Sunday.

I can confirm this was great. Gal Gadot and Chris Pine make an unbeatable duo (they kick ass individually as well), but I think the real star here is Patty Jenkins. DCEU finally has its first big winner

Out of curiosity, did you like MOS, BvS or SS?

I don't have strong feelings about MoS, but I only saw it once. BvS I mostly hated, and I didn't think Suicide Squad was as awful as others have said but I definitely didn't find it good. So trust me when I say that WW is worth seeing

I actually liked (mostly) both MoS and BvS. I thought SS was horrendous.

Can also confirm that this was great. It was like what was promised in the MoS teaser and they finally followed through. A few nitpick, but solid all the way through. DC's best since TDK.

Putting stock in review aggregates is silly, and I'm sure the score will be lower a week from now, but I just wanna keep this hype train going. :wonderwoman:
