It's still the fucking World Cup. Although the US squad expected to win the group you should still celebrate the small victories like getting to the knockout stages. This is a difficult sport where nothing is ever guaranteed.

went to the irish team's homecoming earlier today. atmosphere was great. v cool seeing how many kids were there and how excited they got at the sight of their new heroes
