She could not possibly have actually thought that the players who've been busting their ass to build the league would just welcome her with open arms as the anointed GOAT without her ever playing a minute.

 

Chennedy Carter has bounced around multiple teams and had personal issues with every single one of them. She lost her spot on the Dream a few years ago for basically having a low key brawl with Courtney Williams. She really stepped in it this time and gave everyone who is full of shit the ammo they needed.

I can’t actually tell if you’re agreeing with me or not because text only blah blah blah. But I know at one point Bluder said it wasn’t her job to prepare players for the league. I think she’s just used to getting the call in college and it’s not gonna happen in the pros

 

Like, she’s waved off Aaliyah Boston multiple times. Boston had to deactivate her Twitter because of all the racism she’s getting. And CC hasn’t said or done a thing to try and call those people off. And now her boyfriend and brother get caught liking racist shit. It paints quite a picture

It's confusing because they're both CC. Agreeing with you though, I think there's probably some resentment in the league towards Caitlin because of all of the attention she's getting before even her first game. ESPN crowned her the savior of the league almost immediately, I'm sure Chennedy's not the only one who wants to welcome her to the league, she's just the fighting type to actually do it.
