They were super good tonight. Really tight, great energy, pretty undeniable songwriting I thought. I think my friend and I are seeing Suicide Squad with them tomorrow since they have a day off, so that's awesome

 

But White Lung was fucking stellar too. They owned the crowd from the first second. Crowd didnt start moshing until during "Below" which was super weird, haha.

 

nobody really did any movement during my show, but i mean, it was a DC show on a weeknight so...

 

would luv to see these guys live

I mean it sounds like the Japandroids covering mid-00s post-hardcore with a fierce female singer. Those are three things I like. Haha

Actually that's been on my catch-up list since at least May, I had just dragged my feet. But that time approaches, don't you worry. Haha.

 

Just discovered this too... and it's great.

 

this actually fell off a bit for me. i remember this came out at the same time as car seat and my immediate reaction was to like this a lot more. car seat has grown a ton and this i haven't listened to in months. could be because i played it a ton at first but it is a bit samey (though at least more diverse than their earlier stuff), so i could just be over it already. i should relisten

 

probably the opposite for me. didn't really like this at all at first and loved car seat but i have no desire to listen to the latter most days and i come back to this a decent amount

 

I still think this album is amazing but I haven't listened to it since I saw them live and got bad vibes from Mish.

 

Ok I'm listening again and it's still absolutely fantastic. Top 10 record no doubt. Is there a better punk album this year?
