    Slower
Opening with a cool deep riff line, and some softer vocals, I actually like that. And then the song erupts. This song sounds like it had so much potential to be awesome, I love the guitar and the effects are cool. But this suffers the same problems as the first song. The proportions of it are a mess. Sure you can hear the cool bass line, and the guitars. And his vocals during the softer moments, but when the song really kicks into gear it becomes distorted and you cant really tell what you're hearing because their background effects have come to the front of the song, and the stuff that should stand out more are in back. I actually LIKE the lyrics of the chorus too! ugh, that actually makes this worse. This song would kick ASS if they remixed the choruses.

    Dolorosa

A nice soft and slow ballad. This actually works for this band, given the audio issues this album seems to presenting. Much more laid back, the guitars are a crooning and the drums sound really good in this soft 'thump thump thump' during the verses. Its a love song, and then at the 2:00 to go mark it explodes into a passionate roar. Sure he is buried by the guitar again, but it still sounds cool and I think in a live setting this song would be awesome to hear. Lighters in the air!

Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet intro riff. I like this song. Its a fun rock song, with cool guitar and bass workings going on during the song. At this point in the album, the vocals had become inconsequential really, and they started out this way in this song, but when he really lets loose and sings at the top of his lungs at the 1:30 mark, it actually sounds really good. Reminds me of garage bands I used to watch, but in the best way possible I say that. The last minute of this song btw, and that outro few seconds are sick

    If I Could

The first minute or so of this song really builds the anticipation for what you are about to hear. Starting at the 1:45 mark, this may be his best sounding vocals on the album, and the soft ambiance of the strumming guitar in the verse is pretty dang good. 'I wanted to tell her how beautiful she was but I just sat there' is a really relatable line, as is the rest of the song as it talks about sitting there in a rain storm during a deep conversation with her. Overall good song with some down to earth relatable lyrics; we were all in that situation in high school and if we wrote a song about it that would be it.

Love that plucking guitar intro, its different and welcomed. This is instantly my favorite song on the album because its my birth month....just kidding. But it is my favorite because it absolutely shreds. The guitar in this song is intense, has a blink vibe to it on more than one occasion, and its raw. Raw and filled with emotion. This one also has some raw, passionate lyrics that actually sit better than the rest of the songs so far with the music it is matched up with. and YES on that bizarrely awesome guitar strumming in the last minute of this song. THAT is fucking cool sounding with the insanity of the rest of this album going on behind it.

6+ minute song! Wooo! The intro is cool, mellow and smooth sounding for the first minute until the vocals softly come in. A mostly more restrained song, this one relies more on the soft strumming guitars and his vocals, only picking up in the choruses and not near the levels it has in the previous songs. A decent enough song, I like this one. It is a minute or two too long, but in the end (it doesn't even matter) I still liked it. Especially when it erupts at the end. I have noticed this band loves to make the first minute and last minute of every song really sick instrumentally.

Sadly this song was kind of meh. Its the weakest on the album imo. Its not BAD, but its just..kinda there.

    Parking Lot

Fuck this place lets put up a parking lot nanananananananana.

Ok kidding. This song is the best on the album. Great closer, cool guitars. His vocals sound the best in this one that they have all album, and the last minute it manages to EXPLODE into this passionate break down of both vocals and music, before ending in distorted guitars. Cool way to end the album. Its the most accessible song on the album too, sounding the best out of the other tracks.

Not a bad album, @fenway89 I liked it! Its a product of its time, that is for sure. If this album was remastered a bit, it would be a big hit with me. As it stands now though, I probably wont revisit it all that much because of how that sound has aged production wise. Not that I WONT revisit it, but probably have to be in a certain mood to pick this one up again. Thanks for suggesting it, and I hope this was to your liking.

Yeah i get not digging the production on it, but that score makes my heart hurt! Without this album and band many of the bands we know and love likely wouldn’t exist or sound the way they do!

    A To B Life

    Bullet To Binary

That was MUCH more aggressive than I expected given my last exposure to this band. I like this song! Its intense, its full of rage and passion. The lyrics are great too, "and when you say you love him, taste me, I'm like poison on your tongue." That's a great line. Again, musically this more aggressive than the last one I heard from them, and I actually right now think I prefer this song. Its still structured differently, more like poems rather than a typical verse-chorus-verse setup; theyre like PBTT in this way. Good start!
