This man absolutely wrecks me every song:

 

I blame my lack of caring about MCR on the fact that I graduated high school in 2004. I remember listening to their first album a bit back then, but I only cared about it because the singer of Thursday produced it. When Three Cheers came out, I didn't like it as much as Bullets so they fell off my map at that point. If I had been in high school when The Black Parade came out, I may have gotten more into it, but who knows... None of my friends (even my younger friends) liked MCR, so they were just totally not on my radar after high school.

Random fun story though:
One time I was at the house of The Used's bass player (because my friend was living there) and when I went inside, all of MCR's instruments and tour gear was there, filling the entire living room. So they must have been staying there for a bit or something. So that's kinda cool, I guess.

 

i still need to listen to this.. i like Gaslight enough

 

This record exceeds his debut imo

do Gaslight Anthem fans like Beach Slang and the newer music from The Ataris? I feel like all of them have a similar-ish sound, but Gaslight Anthem does it better than the other two.

 

I don’t know but I saw beach slang open for JEW and they were way too loud lol

 

Beach Slang sounds good. I enjoy their stuff when it comes out but I've never returned. Just too generic imo
