Haha. The only other time I've ever listened to this song was live, when MCR opened for Blink-182 in 2011 or something. I was totally not into MCR at all during that show, so I just say in my seat and played Solitaire on my phone or whatever. And then all of a sudden, everyone around me starts flipping out and getting pissed at me, yelling at me to stand up! And I was like "Nah, I'm good..." but I guess maybe the band asked everyone to stand up for "Cancer" because of the message or something, I'm guessing? So yeah, I felt kind of like a dick at that point, but I was genuinely not paying attention.

Anyway.... the song is fine, I guess.

(time to pause while I go to a meeting real quick. brb.)
