I might be remembering this wrong, but I thought in Sonic Highways that he had played Kurt a demo for the Foo Fighters "Alone + Easy Target" and he loved it.

Ah, I wanna say I’ve seen this a long time ago but I honestly don’t even remember

 

It is so good! I really hope they follow through and do Sonic Highways 2. Also an underrated record. "I Am A River" is a top 10 Foo Fighters song

 

I really really like 8/10 of the songs on POST-. The album will probably make my EOTY list despite the other 2 songs lol

 

Obviously he isn’t totally praising her in regards to the buying into grunge thing, but imo this video shows a tiny glimpse of Kurt’s willingness to see other genres for doing good too
