Agreed but I can’t remember last season enough. Is this all just Dolores versus Dolores at this point?

  2. Hale is definitely a copy of Dolores in her body, referred to as "Halores" by the Westworld crew from what I've read. The host Man in Black was created by Halores as a "better" version of the real person.

We don't really know who Christina is definitively, but Teddy seems to hint that she a has some connection with Dolores since he refers to her as an old friend. Dolores Prime was killed at the end of last season though, so I'm curious to see how they explain that she's a reprogrammed version of Dolores. I guess Halores, given that she's a copy of Dolores, could've just created her using whatever Dolores code she has within herself.

Seems like the main driving conflict of the season is the rebellion/Bernard/Christina vs Halores.

It sounds so fucking stupid when you spell it out lol but I’m having a good time. Gonna need Maeve to cut some bitches in the next one for sure though

I’m finding Bernard’s story the most interesting, and Evan Rachel Wood’s performance my favorite to watch.

I remember they planned out the series at the start with an ending but can’t remember if it was supposed to be 5 or 6 seasons total. I hope it wraps up at 5 cause I’m reading that ratings have fallen dramatically with each season so I hope they can end it as planned.

Just finished episode 4. Yeah that was great. Once it became apparent that Caleb was in a memory, I kind of assumed what was going on and that Maeve was the ‘weapon’ Bernard was talking about.

Interested to see why presumably Caleb’s daughter and some other humans have “escaped” despite Halores saying she got the whole world and children were easy

So yeah this is indeed really really good again. Really enjoying the stories this season. If you gave up after season 3, try jumping back in. This is good.

For a bit there I was thinking that Teddy might actually be Maeve and the “weapon” was using Teddy to “re-awaken” Dolores and use her to take down Halores…but then the previews for next week seemed to show Bernard restoring Maeve in her own body. So I guess we’ll see what happens. But either way, Teddy def seems a bit different

Really not sure where this is gonna go in 2 more episodes. Couldn’t tell what Hale’s plan was based on the previews for next week.

  8. Geez, poor Caleb. The torture that character goes through is something only this show could conceive of lol.

  9. I love that they sprinkle in this sort of Black Mirror type shit, conceptually sci-fi can be so fucking terrifying

Yeah him having the slow realization that these past calebs have been leaving him hints on how to get out, and realizing the last guy to get as far as him just sat there and waited to be used as a cushion for the fall and etc….just wild.

I’m wondering why she made another Caleb at the end there. I thought she had realized there’s no answer she can offer him but I guess not

Well, I am officially confused as fuck lol

  12. Curious to see how they explain the Christina stuff, but I figured they had to be building up to some sort of reveal there. The sequence with her in the bathtub was great.

Really hope the finale sticks the landing. I've been loving this season overall.

Alright finished up….it def got confusing to me again lol. Like I wasn’t understanding the difference between “this world” and whatever Christine/Deloras world was. Like I thought the world we’ve seen all season is the “real world” that Halores had taken over via her parasite. But then the end made it seem like it was…in Deloras’ head/pearl? I don’t know, I don’t get it. Was it a digital overlay over the real world?

And it seemed like all the other story lines ended abruptly to me. Maeve, Bernard, Caleb, etc…like, what? That’s it? (Clearly with that ending, I don’t think it is. I assume they’ll be popping back up in Deloras’ world)

Speaking of which, my completely uninformed and obviously confused theory is we’re gonna get young William Jimmi Simpson again. Like this whole going back thing is gonna come back to their relationship, and Deloras is going to try to “remember” him this time. As it seems their broken relationship is what started this downward spiral of humans and hosts alike

I have so many questions I hope someone can clear up for me lol. I don’t reaallly understand what the sublime is. Is it just a virtual world for them all on a big ass server? And is the implication that now all humans and hosts are going to live on in this server making them more or less “equals”?

Does Aaron Paul and his daughter miss out on it?

also, I guess I don’t really understand what Christina/Dolores role in all of this was. Was she actually walking about in the physical world? If so, why did Charlotte unplugging that world-core-thing cause Charlotte to see it all disappear?

  18. I have mixed feelings on the finale. Some beautiful moments, and some clunkiness. Overall though, great season.

Totally forgot about this show after the fourth or so episode. Did the flies ever get explained?

    Anyways,

    Gotta be cancelled now, right?

  20. I'm honestly surprised it didn't get canned after S3, a season that I enjoyed but felt like nobody watched. Also, those S4 numbers may not take into account HBO Max viewers.

I have to think they let them do one more season to finish it up.

apparently it starting to get good this season? damn

  25. Oh no! I feel like it was about to go somewhere really interesting. But then again I felt that way about every season. I'm probably one of the few people who actually stuck with the show
