La Mancha is a skip for me if I’m paying close attention, but everything else is solid-very enjoyable

 

"Get Right" and "La Mancha.." are literally two of the best on the album lol

 

It makes sense that people like "La Mancha" because it's got that Fitz and the Tantrums, "Jacked Up" feel, and "Get Right" is fine, it just doesn't feel like a Weezer song in any way to me. Both are pretty generic

 

“Beach Boys”, “La Manch Screwjob”, and “Get Right” are garbage.

Everything else is good/solid.

 

Yeah I'm not a fan of Get Right at all.

Usually when I listen to this album I'll listen to the first 5 songs then skip to Diane.

Cuomo says that most of the stuff on his Twitter isn’t actually sent by him. He says that the only social media he keeps up with is his Snapchat account. “As for the rest of my social media, it’s 100 percent sincere and reflecting how I’m feeling at the time, but probably only 20 percent of it is literally from me,” he said in the interview. He says that he puts what he wants to say into a program that tweets out randomly three times a day.

That is the most Rivers thing ever.

 

And this is why we love him so.

I'm happy that one of them put Angel and The One on their list. Probably the only song from both these lists that I'd also have in my Top 5.

 

Rivers list is hilarious

 

Rivers must get tired of everyone acting like everything he does is meant to be meta/ironic/funny.

Then again, he does come off that way literally all the time lol.

He said his number one favorite song from his band is a Toto cover, it's definitely meant to be funny lol

Or maybe he's just that strange

 

This is from years and years ago but I just stumbled upon this quote in an interview:

"People always think I'm sarcastic," he says, slouching in his chair. "Because they have this preconceived notion of who I am that's so different from who I actually am. I'm the guy who says something seriously and everybody thinks it's hysterical. And I just have to go along with it, because at least I'm getting some attention."

 

I think he's pretty open about liking the ones that are commercially successful haha

 

Seems like now would be the perfect time to release a new single to capitalize on the success of the Teal Album, but what do I know?

I was very disappointed it wasn't a Jay Z cover. That's my only opinion on it
