Pretty cool. I would have loved if they brought their own sound a bit more into these songs.

An inconsequential shift as the continents drift.

I’d kill for a show of material from 2014 and later

They’re probably gonna incorporate more songs from Teal into their set than they will from the black album

Me too! It's sad EWBAITE and White didn't get the live attention it deserved during their runs!

This is definitely not what I’ll listen to in the future when I want to listen to Weezer. It is, however, going to be the world’s most perfect road trip sing along album with my wife. And that’s pretty cool.

Yeah, song selection is basically perfect. I would honestly go to a Weezer show that's just covers, I feel like that would be super fun. I've always loved their Kids cover that interpolates Poker Face

    I think this is funny.

I think the people getting annoyed/mad are even funnier. That P4K article is embarrassing. Pinkerton came out 23 years ago. Move on.

Yeah that Pitchfork article is sad.

Also can we talk about how successful this has been so far? 3 days in a row still sitting at #1 on the iTunes album charts. Still ahead of Backstreet Boys new album. The streaming numbers seem to be pretty good so far too. That'll be hilarious if this is their highest charting album since Red.

But really I'm just hoping the success of Teal brings more people to find Can't Knock the Hustle. I still believe with the right push that could be a big single for them.

Lol I like reading takes that are so pissed off at this. It's hilarious. It couldn't be a more harmless album.

I like how these Weezer hate articles are just doubling down on the "garbage since Pinkerton" thing from SNL as if EWBAITE and White aren't worthy albums

Like if Weezer does nothing for you I totally get it, they can be odd as shit. But finding effort to hate them or get mad about them in this world today? Sounds like waaaay too much effort to me

I should make an effort to go through their discography. I really only listen to them on shuffle and haven't heard a lot of the albums in full

Blue, Pinkerton, White, Everything Will Be Alright In the End, Make Believe, and Maladroit are all worth a listen. Green is fun too and I think each of their albums has at least one great song. They can absolutely be corny as hell but I really like them for the most part.

I've heard Blue, Pinkerton, Red, Hurley, Raditude, and listened to EWBAITE once when it came out
