It's incredible how Rivers has captured the zeitgeist

 

Lol it would be funny if there's just one person who somehow knows none of these songs and comes across this album and is like "this is the best album of all time"

 

I'm excited for the Weezer "Crimson" album that is just a front to back cover of Trio's album

 

Truly never understand posts like, "not sure why anyone would listen to this." Because it's a short covers album by a band I like? Seems pretty straightforward to me *shrug*

 

I'm surprised at how great the Take On Me cover is. That song is really tough to do justice to, but the band made just the right changes in the right places to make it their own and it's great

 

I FINALLY watched the Weezer SNL sketch and I am losing it.

There is no reason whatsoever to hate this. We're getting a new album, let alone The Black Album, in just over a month.

 

This album was worth it just for the No Scrubs cover. Easily my favorite of the bunch, with Mr Blue Sky not far behind. I feel like I should have known Weez covering ELO was a match made in heaven,

 

I’m trying to listen to Paranoid on Apple Music but it’s just the Black Sabbath version. Anyone else getting the same result?

 

This is what I thought too. Unless Weezer's version is just THAT similar?

 

I really would change nothing about this tracklist. Africa is probably my least favorite actually lol

Edit: Apparently Brian is singing on this one. He basically sounds like a remastered version of the original.

 

I thought the Eurythmics cover sounded just like Annie Lenox (and NOT like Marilyn Manson at all).

they've already recorded songs for AFTER black album? Good lawd

 

It's probably just leftover songs that didn't fit Black. That's how PD came to be.
