When I started reading your reply to my ranking, I thought you were going to say the opposite! Haha. And I don't think it'll change as my top two. My laptop wallpaper is still White's album cover since 2016!

 

White/Blue/Pinkerton are top tier

Red/Raditide are pretty mostly bad

Everything else in the middle is fairly interchangeable to me

 

White and EWBAITE are the best post-Pinkerton albums.

Hurley is more "soulless" than Make Believe if we're being real. It's just a boring, by-the-numbers album with a few high points that I barely return to. It's like a watered down version of Green.

Make Believe at least attempts something different and mostly succeeds imho

Yeah that’s not true. Trainwrecks and Ruling Me are two of their better post Maladroit songs.


Also we all need to recognize Maladroit as the last great Weezer album. I’ve always been baffled at people underrating Green too, that’s an essential album for me as well

 

I think Green is worse than anything other than Hurley tbh and that’s my Weezer hot take

 

I guess, at the very least, the divisiveness of their discography is a good thing.

 

I find it so weird how many people don't care for Green Album. I was a freshman in High School when that came out and I thought everyone was loving it. At least thats how it seemed to me. Those songs played all over at the time.
