WHAT THE FUCK when did East Coast vs West Coast leak?! This just reinforces my belief that Deliverance at Hand! is amazing, Autopilot and Odd Couple aside. But maybe those were better in this demo form.

If Rivers just released acoustic demos like this and Pig from now on I’d be more than happy with no more Weezer.

Weezer Setlist at Coral Sky Amphitheatre, West Palm Beach

The setlist for the new tour sucks. Like I get that they’re going to play Africa I guess but for a band with as big of a catalog as them, hearing 4 covers in a 19 song set is lame.

 

I wasn't expecting anything more, sad to say. Been discussing this over in the Fan Club all night. I am happy with Cant Stop Partying because it's something that hasn't been done in a while that is fresh and fun.

The stage setup and other production is what I'm looking forward to most; representing Blue with Rivers' Buddy Holly look, the posters on the wall during In The Garage, Rivers riding a scooter through the crowd, singing "Island in the Sun" there, too with Island-like props. This all saves the day.

 

Yeah that setlist is one of the worst I've seen for their tour

 

Both times I saw them they played 2 covers haha, I guess they were co-headlining then even though they went on first both times, it was with Foo Fighters and Blink

Seeing that setlist just makes me wish I saw them with Panic and Andrew.

 

No, he goes to the side of the stage to make a quick outfit change and to grab the scooter, and then comes off stage and rides to the middle of the crowd where there is a tiki hut setup to perform "Island in the Sun"! Very fun.

 

I guess we can just table this discussion for a bit. I hope its good. They have been on a streak recently.

Yeah im okay with this. Still really looking forward to it. I have pretty high hopes for it. I know I shouldn't but I do.
