Yeah I'll say again, there are many artists who simply cannot afford to release an album at a time when they are unable to tour on/promote it in person.

Weezer is emphatically not one of those artists.

 

I could use a good Weezer album right now with the backdrop of everything going on

The last couple of Weezer albums left me in a place between love and hate. Still, I seem to be one of the few people that really dug "Pacific daydream". The black album was really bad, tough.

 

I definitely came around to Pacific Daydream too... wasn’t the case initially, but I gave it a few listens and really enjoyed it. Different than the White album, but they had a nice back-to-back going there for me... but yeah, Black Album left a lot to be desired.

 

If this album really doesn't come out until May 2021....these guys are definitely going to have like two more albums made by that time lol.
