At the end of the day a 20-month rollout on a Weezer record is totally unnecessary

 

Historically judging by their setlist, I don't really think this is true

 

There's no way they play more than one or two live, but them having a stadium tour coming up was definitely the inspiration for this record.

 

If Crush music weren't twisting their nuts all the time there would likely be an album out by now

 

They've put out four records in five years since joining Crush. I think it's OK.

 

If I didn't already know this album existed I'd honestly probably be okay waiting a year for another Weezer album because they've put out so much in the last few years. However, the fact that it's completely finished and I know about it makes the fact that I might have to wait a year for it very annoying lol

I’m doing a full discography listen through leading up to van weezer. Anyone else think the end of Hero should extend like another 20 seconds and just keep rocking? I love the build but it seems like it stops too short

 

It’s wild to me that they haven’t announced anything else about a new release date for this

 

Playing Jimmy Fallon tomorrow. Surely they’re about to announce a new date?

 

I got so excited when I saw the news they were playing on Fallon, but then I remembered its probably just an at home performance bc of everything going on.

 

Maybe they will play a new song

 

They will 100% play Hero.

EWBAITE didn’t hold up for me, which is surprising bc i liked it a lot when it came out. White album is far superior.

 

Them never releasing this album, but always announcing new release dates for it and releasing other albums in between would be the most Weezer thing to ever happen

 

That performance video is a mind fuck for me cause Rivers’ perspective was flipped (the higher he went on piano, the father left he went and vice versa).
