My sister got me one as a Christmas gag gift around 10 years ago haha

 

I noticed it not too long after it came out haha

 

My thoughts exacty. It would make for a really solid EP with the first 4 songs removed.

even red has pork and beans and raditude has the opener. there’s nothing memorable that normies would know from PD

 

to be fair, normies aren't going to recognize any weezer other than blue, green, and maybe make believe

Beginning of the End was the last song I listened to in the gym, and I took my headphones out and they were playing Hero.

That's just a perfect end to a workout

 

Feels Like Summer was easily their biggest non-Africa single post-Pork and Beans. Hero actually did pretty good on alternative radio too.

 

I remember Feels Like Summer was on TV quite a bit as bumper music and stuff, it was around quite a bit when it came out

 

i listened today and it felt like the first time i heard it, when it wasn’t. bad.

 

Glad to know it still sounds so fresh!

Everything Will Be Alright is the third best Weezer album

PD is definitely good. I despise “Beach Boys” but dig pretty much everything else. It’s really solid in the middle. I love the run of “Happy Hour”>”Weekend Woman”>”QB Blitz”>”Sweet Mary”, also has a solid opener and closer.

Listened to Green and White yesterday.

Green album still hits me hard front to back. Even though every song has a similar vibe, it just works on that album and makes it such an easy album to listen throw on. It's a pretty incredible power pop album and ages well.

White album does a great job modernizing the classic signature Weezer sound.

I'll jam Maladroit and EWBAITE today.
