Weekly Poll: Favorite New Found Glory Album

I went with Sticks & Stones as my favorite. Such a fun album from front to back, I never feel the need to skip any of the tracks and it just flows really well. It has my favorite NFG opener in Understatement and my favorite closer in The Story So Far.

I love everything by them, top 3 are very solidified. middle stuff switches around a lot. I just never cared much for Coming Home which I know is very unpopular...

 

God looking at those last three albums in a row is....terribly rough.

Catalyst got me into the band, Coming Home might be their best, but I threw some love to Makes Me Sick because I didn't think this band could ever pull me back in.

 

I will never understand Makes Me Sick hate. Solid pop punk and solid NFG record.

It’s tough between S/T and Coming Home

 

Holy fuck I'm so happy Coming Home is in second place. It's one of the most romantic albums I've ever heard, just unashamedly cheesy and super super charming.

 

Catalyst and Coming Home are my top 2 by quite a large margin

 

I guess I listened to Sticks and Stones more when I was younger. So I'll choose that.

 

My relationship with this band is weird. I got into them maybe around 2012 so I was way late to the game. Catalyst was the first record of theirs I listened to and that resonated with me a lot (outside of the slow songs which just aren't my thing when it comes to these guys)

Catalyst is easily my favorite, and I think NWAF would be next. Unfortunately everything after NWAF isn't even worth listening to

 

If I had to make a list of my top 10 favorite NFG songs it'd probably be at least 60% Coming Home so I have to go with that. Sticks & Stones and NWAF are right behind it though.

 

I'm surprised more people weren't into Catalyst

 

Gotta be Sticks and Stones, although Catalyst is right there with it.
