Yea the Cleveland thing I don’t get, like I think everyone knew it wouldn’t be huge but it’s not even a lineup that is worth the $30 they are charging.

 

I just don’t even get who it’s trying to appeal to or what it’s purpose is. Like why does it even exist? And why did they originally market it as a big show?

 

It almost feels like a show that started out as free and someone said maybe we can charge for this?

 

It really is an amazing lineup. I’m so excited. Shame people are already underestimating it because there’s no Blink or ADTR which in my opinion, is the only difference between the two

 

Yeah, there’s a few bands on AC’s lineup that I wish were on MV (Glassjaw and BFS in particular), but yeah it’s phenomenal imo

 

Maybe because Im an old fart I much prefer getting Jawbreaker over those 2 pop punk bands. I mean I also wish MV got Glassjaw and Atmosphere but other than those two I'm not super jealous of the east coast.

Question on the Mountain View ampitheater? I like the lineup in cali more than AC (even though im from NJ) but im worried about the ampitheater layout/GA access.

Anyone have knowledge of how it will look etc

First time hitting this venue up as well and I got the same concern. I saw on the FB event page a week or so ago they said they would have 2 small stages in the Ampitheatre so people can get out of the sun

 

I grew up going to the Shoreline Warped. They do usually put two stages in the amphitheater. In the past it's been like the two stages that are the equivalent of like the Journey's and Warheads or Skull Candy, etc.

They put most of the festival including the main stage areas in the big parking lot adjacent to the theatre and then a lot of times one of the smaller stages will be up on the concourse (this is where Earnie Ball and/or Kevin Says has been in the past. Usually there's a decent amount of shade. The concourse has a bunch of foliage and the amphitheater does get decent cover if you're in the right place at the right time of day. Also, Mountain View and the Bay in general doesn't usually get that uncomfortably hot.

It's a decent venue as far as festivals go. I live in LA and I'd rather do MV than Pomona to be honest and Pomona isn't even in an amphitheater setting.

If I had any complaints, it's that there are choke points for foot traffic in certain places to get from the concourse area to the parking lot. Sometimes things feel a bit too spread out. Parking isn't cheap but this is typical and there are work arounds depending on how hard you're willing to work for it.

 

So it's pretty much all in the parking lot with stages.

All I need to know is that all the stages GA

I’m kinda surprised Saves The Day wasn’t on the AC lineup but I can definitely see them being one of the TBA’s.

I just don't think it's a funny shitpost. Fake lineups with ridiculous artist = funny. Loudly proclaiming you want to eat out a 50+ year old man's asshole for the 6000th time on this board = super not funny/kinda Waterparks stan levels of cringe.

I was surprised only AC gets ADTR since they used an ADTR song to advertise all three shows in the video

 

Cleveland probably got a ton of the early bird tickets on stubhub right after that lineup was released too. Since people were figuring "5 bands? Maybe it'll a big name to make up for it!" Nope, you're getting 5 bands that very irrelevant or have basically spent every other summer on Warped their entire band's career.
