Well, you can always pick up a dash cam for inside the car haha. That way if something does happen, you got it all on tape!

I've decided I'm actually only going to do one date this year.

Just really hope I can see Creeper, Microwave, Suicide Machines, Anti-Flag, Counterparts, Silverstein & Stick To Your Guns with no conflicts. I can choose between the other bands I want to see.

CKY, GWAR, and Adolescents are the ones I really hope don't conflict at my date. There's a lot I want to see this year, but those are the 3 that will make or break my day if I miss them.

Silverstein vs DGD conflict really concerns me.

Just got the newest issue of Alternative Press in the mail and the Warped ad in there has Wage War listed on the poster. There's also a band called Bad Friday on there as well.

Bad Friday is a band from Anchorage, Alaska that won a yearly Battle of the Bands featuring bands from that state. They usually get to play the Oregon and Washington dates. I can't seem to find the band on Facebook though to confirm.

I also just realized that the Mexico Warped date got postponed at the last minute until October. I have a feeling it will ultimately not take place.

    It's chaos. Be kind. Prestigious

GWAR vs. Suicide Machines vs. Save Ferris vs. Knocked Loose is my nightmare.

Yes, I'm from Portland! It's super nice of you to offer me a ride and I don't think it's creepy haha

I'd definitely take you up on your offer if you're serious. I can give you gas money or a ticket to Taking Back Sunday in return.

Nightmare conflict would be Neck Deep Vs Silverstein Vs The Ataris Vs Creeper or Boston Manor.

This is the first in like 8 years I've been going that I don't have any excitement for this. I guess I'm out of the demographic now but its somewhat of a bummer. Anyone else feel like the hype is non-existent this year?

I'm right there with you, and it bums me out too.

Does anyone know if they are doing the live webcast of the first date again this year?

I'm always pumped for Warped Tour but I hate the fact that they have a more pop-punk lineup one year and then a more heavy lineup the next. I loved the unpredictability of Warped. Another thing they haven't done in awhile is "break the next artist". It was awesome seeing an up and coming band on Warped starting out on a small stage and then 5 years later, they're on the main stage with a massive audience. Then again going back 10 years, if you were on Warped Tour (even as a local band), this was your shot to make a name for yourselves.

I do give Kevin a ton of props for creating and maintaining this festival for almost 25 years. Obviously he made some poor choices in the last few years but people STILL come out each and every summer. I do think the 25th year will probably be his last with the tour and maybe his daughter takes it over. He's got a good thing going with It's Not Dead and Taste of Chaos (the 1 day festival). If I was him, I'd partner up with Danny Wimmer Presents and see if he can create a tour in the same style as Mayhem or Uproar that revolves around Danny's festivals. Obviously you can't do a festival in every state but an arena tour that goes from April to June and then an amphitheater tour from August until October with different bands on each can bring a lot of money. I think the downfalls of Mayhem/Uproar were European festivals and better touring options. With this system, these bands can go over to Europe for the summer and still be available for the fall. Sorry for the rant haha.

tl;dr: Warped wasn't what it used to be and Kevin should pair up with DWP instead.

I really enjoy Knocked Loose and they're great live but I feel like Warped is going to be the perfect excuse for kids to be complete dickheads. Lots of crowd killing and people getting hurt that aren't even trying to be close to the pit will definitely happen

So if something else is going on I will probably skip them

It's the opposite for me. I haven't been this excited for a lineup since 2009. The return to having some 90s Punk and Hardcore bands (Anti-Flag, Strung Out, Hatebreed, The Ataris, Sick Of It All) reminds me of the Warped lineups from when I started going in 2005. The major draw for me when I began attending was being able to see new (at the time) bands like Underoath, Senses Fail, and Alexisonfire play alongside established legends like NOFX and Bad Religion. This year actually has that vibe again.

the last real band I can think of that really grew fast off warped was PVRIS. They went from partial date Ernie Ball to top 5 drawing band to huge special guest.

"Out of the demographic", what demographic are you exactly in? I mean unless your a big pop punk guy, I guess they are the only demo that can kinda say this. But old, young, inbetweeen age, metal, punk, any type of core, male, female, I'm not sure what demographic isn't represented on this tour? Not a slight to you at all, just asking.

If you pop punk person, this is not your year. Hype is there. I'm more of a metal person and the friends that gave me shit for going to warped in the past are like we must go this year.

The first sentence is the reason I hate this lineup. Not a deathcore and old school metal/hard rock fan. I like some generic metalcore and the occasional indie bands for warped. There isn't even an easycore band on this lineup.

One of my local friends was in Eyes Eat Suns for a short period of time. Good for them I suppose.

I agree with that. Warped really helped them out and then that Fall Out Boy tour put them over the top.
