I can definitely see Knocked Loose as the token Hardcore band next year like Cruel Hand and Old Wounds were this year. That's another one I left out of my prediction that I might have to add in. It's just a matter of whether they want to or not. Bands in that scene seem to either love or hate Warped.

 

if underoath doesn't atleast do ONE date next year (hoping for maybe a full run since it hits a lot of markets) id be shocked. also could see bands like ABR/MMI/TDWP/WCAR/MMF on the monster main stages, who usually play the journeys main stages. i think that's a cool set up. attila would probably still be on journeys if they played again.

Parkway Drive have toured the US 3 times in the last year. fall '15 IRE tour, Spring '16 supporting ADTR & fall '16 headliner.. they are pretty big (selling out HOB/Fillmores) in the US now, I could see them returning for a full summmer next year. if i remember correctly they've NEVER done a full summer on warped.

 

Parkway did a full run in 2010, but that's the only time they have.

 

I disagree about Attila doing Journeys main stages. The heavier bands on the Journeys stages this year had a pop leaning sound to them (those being Issues and Falling In Reverse). Attila really doesn't have a pop leaning to them. However I do believe that both WCAR and MMF could do one or the other when it comes to Journeys and Monster.

 

I think We Came As Romans, Memphis May Fire, The Amity Affliction, and Beartooth are the most likely candidates for heavier Journey's bands next summer, assuming they keep this year's format and all the heaviest acts are still on Monster.

 

All 4 for sure have easy crossover for both Journeys and Monster.

 

Has anyone seen any bands asking fans to put them on the poll yet? Palisades asked today, and Forever Came Calling asked fans in a Q&A/Contender live stream a while back. I'm assembling a list because I'm always curious who actually gets on.

 

Capture The Crown, The Browning, Farewell My Love, and Blameshift all shared it.

 

I'm surprised CTC have gone this long without doing it. I've heard about people running into Jeffery before.

 

I haven't filled out the survey yet but it will he five of these bands.

I Set My Friends On Fire did as well.

 

I'll vote for I Set My Friends on Fire if they promise to play their two Smosh songs

 

I saw them this summer but there were only like 10 people there. It was sad and they cut their set short because they were "sick" and apparently not getting paid for that show but still played for the people that showed up. Last time I'll go to that venue. They did play "Sex Ed Rocks" but they didn't play Crank That which made me sad.

Those monks that are always at Warped are on my campus today, doing their usual things. It is the same group of guys, I definitely recognize them from this summer.
