There's dates for Warped Rewind now. October 28th-November 1st 2017. Also says more info coming soon. Cruise makes sense with that time span.

Lyman replied to someone on Twitter saying that dates are coming December 13th and that a Toronto date "looks rough." Also plans to announce bands on March 21st or 22nd.

 

What do you mean by "rough"? Is there a chance that the tour won't take place in Canada for next year? If it's true, then it'll be the second time that the Warped Tour crossed international boundaries....

 

Kevin was super vague on Twitter. In context it feels like "rough" means "unlikely", but I can also see it meaning there's one penciled in. Hard to say forsure.

Here's a thought... could warped rewind be combining with Parahoy? I mean, Paramore is a scene band, who would fit well with Good Charlotte, and obviously NFG would make complete sense then... And Aaron Gillespie played with paramore so there's an Underoath connection there. Now that would be dope.

 

I think Parahoy was successful on their own but while this is new, you really can't rule anything out.

 

The Paramore cruise sold out on its own. They wouldn't need to join up with Warped.

 

I just noticed on the gif warped rewind posted today that the board says class of 95. That's when warped started, but it could also mean they're bringing bands from that year in. Deftones, No Doubt, No Use For A Name, Sick of it all, Sublime, CIV... but then Good Charlotte wouldn't make sense.

 

If Deftones did Warped, even for one date, I would actually cry.

 

Are there any bands this year that we can say that based off of hype alone, will almost definitely be on? I Prevail and Moose Blood are the only two that come to mind, and of course The Ghost Inside has already been confirmed. Any others?

 

Based purely off of hype and new releases I could see Sylar and Emmure for sure.

Poseidon/Cyclops: Moose Blood

 

Modern Baseball is playing a festival in the middle of July. You can probably count them out for Warped, again. Still can't believe they've never played.

 

I'm surprised Warped hasn't hopped on the emo train yet. Bands like Modern Baseball, Tiny Moving Parts, and even American Football are almost just as popular as pop punk bands like Knuckle Puck and State Champs.

 

Throw Bad Omens on as well.

 

he emailed me back with a few dates this morning.. he's starting the tour on the east coast it looks like.. my date is july 10th in virginia beach.

i think it just boils down to none of those bands wanting to do it lol

 

Rancid, Dropkick Murphys, Suicidal Tendencies, Architects, Animals As Leaders, The Black Dahlia Murder, Comeback Kid, and Terror are all on Resurection Fest overseas in the middle of July 2017, count all of them out, at least for a full run.

 

That sucks. I was really hoping for Architects this year. Makes sense though, all things considered.

 

My predicted lineup is falling apart little by little with these summer European fests announcing their lineups. I have a decent amount of blanks to fill in again. It makes me think 2017 may be like 2015 and have a ton of first time Warped bands. I'm totally okay with that if it's the right artists, though.
