No because in this sense and the way its used, it means that Fronz hates people that are fucking assholes. I've had someone tell me that one of my friends who is a girl is a ****, and I punched him right there. That isn't okay.

I've never heard the song (and don't intend to), but unless there is some context that is gained from listening to it vs reading the lyrics, I cannot see how this is in any way not derogatory towards women. I've reread the line many times now.

 

Also, that word is, at its root, very clearly and pejoratively directed as an insult toward women, regardless if it's being used to talk about women or men.

 

Exactly, I didn't even touch on that stuff and the lyrics in the other posted lyric that reads like revenge porn. I can't see it any other way.

 

He's talking about two different subjects entirely. Honestly why you make a big deal about because there are bands out there who have said worse things than this.

This is the band that was being discussed, I joined in. I didn't proclaim to dismiss other bands and artists for being awful.

Literally uses a slur that is derived from / a root cause of oppressing the LGBTQ+ community right after that line.

Pretty sure anyone who openly uses slurs qualifies as a bigot.

 

looks like rise records has the most bands on the tour, with pure noise coming in 2nd. Again I really hope this alestorm warped run works out. There are about 8 napalm records bands that I'd love to see on warped in 2018.

 

I just checked out Alestorm after the announcement stream and they're crazy in all the best ways. So stoked to check them out this summer

 

Yeah, Alestorm is definitely a set I hope to catch. They seem like they'd be a fun live band.

 

i gotta give warped tour credit though....it's impressive that this touring model of 100+ band thing is STILL happening today. Considering how the major festival craze is running wild and how easy it would be for Kevin to ditch warped and just create a string of 'festivals' instead... idk what the word for it is but... yeah impressive/surprising
