Moon Knight is my #2. I'm personally most hyped for Ms. Marvel by far. But yeah I'm looking forward to all the shows.

Yeah, I think so too. She’s probably gonna break something in her pursuit.

  3. I have no attachment to the comics so I'm down for whatever *shrug*

The more I watch the end credit scene, the less I feel that Wanda will be completely friendly towards Strange.

I’m most excited for What If. That COULD be a lot of fun.

Honestly I'm hoping that What If fuels a lot of the MCU's future multiverse - I personally would much rather see a multiverse filled with other versions/looks at the established MCU than bringing over Fox/Sony/past Marvel characters (although I heard somewhere someone suggest that Norton as Maestro would be cool and I agree, that indeed would be lol)

Have they announced at all what stories are gonna be in What If or just what people are gonna be doing voice acting?

This was a great finale. Can’t wait to see Wanda be more in the limelight of the MCU and found the ending really touching emotionally and thematically.

totally forgot about What If, yeah that could be really really good

I'm not like a super comics expert either. dipped in here and there for sure but I'm nowhere near fluent in talking about them or anything. but based on what I know of Moon Knight, the casting plus the involvement of two of my favourite directors currently working (Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson); yeah they fully got me with that show lmao

I haven’t seen anything about what it could be, or what stories are involved. I just love that they have the opportunity for both. A streamlined MCU where everything is interlinked, and What If existing to completely undo alllllll of it and reimagine it.

There will finally be a multiverse in the movie with multiverse in its title.

    .....maybe.

Mmhmm - just off the top of my head, a world where Cap never went into the ice, and a world where Cap never came out of the ice - you can use the same characters, beats (I mean, the one where he potentially forms an Avengers post WW2 with Peggy Carter, c'mon now!) and such, but then spin them in totally fun and new ways, I mean, that's the way it's usually done in the comics, you get a What If (or alternate universe) comic, and then that story kind of spins off into its own universe that crosses over here and there lol

Someone on Reddit made a good catch that Doctor Strange is not yet the Sorcerer Supreme in the MCU and is only the Sanctum Master of New York. I wonder if Scarlet Witch was learning up to take the role of Sorceress Supreme in the post credit scene?

So there isn't a Sorcerer Supreme currently in the MCU?

Watching this episode was like catching the last 30 minutes of age of ultron on USA while being hungover. It looks like shit, doesn’t make much sense, and the dialog is awful.

Yeah, I didn't really like how Wanda's kinda like... "welp... peace" and just fucks off.

I finished this. It was fine. Big issues that I’ve come to expect from the MCU but some of the more likable MCU writing I’ve seen. Not particularly good, but likable.

Mostly didn't care for the finale. Easily second worst episode for me, after episode 4, though not because they didn't have Doctor Strange or a multiverse or whatever shit, lol. Just was weighed down by a lot of the predictable Marvel Studios type stuff I thought would happen. I still personally count this series as a win for me because it was just playful enough in the right ways & did a good job with an underserved character who's been a fav of mine for years. It just also confirmed that the other Disney+ shows probably won't be for me.

The other Vision was pointless. Some of the Vision-on-Vision action was more fun than I expected, but it was a distraction (in the same way some of the things people were hoping for would've been), & releasing a Vision into the wild before putting this one away was a copout. Plus... if he's now got those memories, why did he just fly off? Are they doing the "he has the memories but not the emotions/personality" angle? If so, couldn't they have at least given that a little more space & tied it into the story of Wanda learning to mourn & let go?

I'm so bummed that they didn't much interesting stuff visually with the magic fight. Hate that they threw back to Wanda's cool AoU magic for, like, two seconds. Agatha as a whole was a letdown these last couple episodes for me. The Scarlet Witch look was pretty cool, & some of the shots of her floating menacingly worked for me, but like... I don't know, I honestly think the one spinning shot at the end of Dark Phoenix between Jean & Vuk might've been more effective, lol. The one other visual thing that was kinda cool was the initial scene of the family starting to dissolve, which reminded me of some House of M art... but also made me wonder why that effect didn't appear elsewhere.

And, some of the Scarlet Witch stuff got a little weirdly chosen-one-ish for me? The way the townspeople walked up to her when Agatha first freed 'em wasn't very well executed & was kinda on the nose. And, what was up with Agatha's unearned women like us line, when last episode's flashback was fellow witches trying to kill her, not townsfolk?

Eh, I dunno. I honestly didn't hate it while watching as much as this post makes it sound. Just... a lot more threads that fall apart if I pull 'em than with most of the episodes for me. Like I said, though, still overall satisfied with the series.

To end on a positive note, Elizabeth Olsen ruled in this episode. There were some scenes where I thought things weren't quite working, and then it cut to her & I was pulled back in. I don't know how confident I am in how Strange 2 will use her, but she deserves to be centered in more Marvel stuff.
