I'm waiting for the next repress of A mark, A mission. I've wanted to buy it so many times, but with the state of vinyl pressings and repressings nowadays, I'll just wait it out...

 

Nice additions. With regard to the last part, I'm almost there as well. Only took since March of this year to build a collection. haha

I have a copy of that Dashboard album and it’s been collecting dust on my shelf for yearrrrrs.

I’ve been keeping a want list recently and I just constantly ignore it when I come across something I didn’t know was on vinyl or just plain forgot about.

 

Yeah, I’ve done the same a few times recently.

I’m going to try and be better. My goal has always been to not own EVERYTHING on vinyl. Only the records I love. Not sure the Tron Legacy score met that criteria, but it just looked so damn cool!

 

Do you think Elva will be censored like it is on Spotify for some reason?

Just watching the video for Sum 41 - Rise Up. Nice cameo by Noodles of Offspring. That dude is old as fuck.

And speaking of Offspring, I think UDM are finally sending me the uncensored version of Rise and Fall. No email but my UPS app shows something coming from their usual distribution location.

What's the consensus on that Saosin album? I know people were kind of let down by it at the time but I think a lot of people liked it as well?

 

It’s the best thing the band has put out.

it wasn't the Anthony EP, so i didn't even give it a fair shot haha. i don't think i've even listened to it since it came out.

 

Beetle album rules, insta-buy, lot of talk about it in the Saosin thread the last few days.

 

I have Elva, but I've already accepted the fact that I'll be buying another copy for the pretty colors.

Psyched for Saosin as well, glad I held out on that one.

Ok, so an awesome thing just happened to me.

The partner and senior associate that I work closely with at my firm, and have developed a friendship with, just came into my office. They told me they got me a xmas gift to express their appreciation for my work.

The gift? Vinyl copies of Identity Crisis as well as Vheissu with the original artwork.

I was pretty much speechless. I had a brief conversation with the partner about collecting records and mentioned offhand that Thrice was my favorite band and that I was missing their first record. That was it. No idea how they settled on Vheissu, which I've wanted with the original artwork for a while now.

I also got a raise today. So, yeah, its been pretty awesome.

 

Seriously, that is so cool

It's definitley different from the previous 2 records, but I like it. There's some really good songs on it.
