Yep. As long as you don't use too much water, it doesn't seem to damage the sleeve, but it's still probably only something I'll do once a year around Christmas, haha.

Even though I already have the first press, I had to order these. Owning more than one copy of a record is something I hardly ever do. In fact, I think I only own more than one copy of 2-3 records. But since this is one of my all-time favorite albums, I just had to.

 

Thread I need help! I'm looking to buy a new turn table. My local music store is selling a Stanton T52B on sale for $179, regular $220. Any thoughts / opinions on Stantons?

 

Christmas vinyl haul was nice this year! Copped Animal Collective's Merriweather Post Pavilion, Foxing's Dealer, M83's Before The Dawn Heals Us and Sigur Ros' Von. Probably gonna use some gift cards on more M83 and Red House Painters albums.

 

I'm gonna start posting in here since I got my new player for Christmas. I normally lurk but I just added these to my collection thanks to my parents and girlfriend.

 

I had to buy one. Also just bought that Therefore I Am - TSOHL pressing.

 

I had a Stanton before upgrading to a Debut Carbon. It'll get the job done as a starter table, but I'd definitely recommend saving up for something nicer. I'm not the best at describing sound, but it made most of my records sound pretty lifeless and boxed in.
