haha i fortunately only owned I'm wide awake. Plus, my brother snagged this for me as a birthday present so I'm beyond stoked about this.

That's a beautiful boxset... unpopular opinion, but Digital Ash is my absolute favorite BE album.

 

Neither have I. I've seen their other records pop up on ebay, but never that one. Good find!

Pre-ordered the new pressing of Mae's The Everglow, which I'm super excited about. Between that, the new Kevin Devine, the new Jimmy Eat World, the new All Get Out, the Bright Eyes box set, and the No Sleep grab bag that are on their way, I have enough to last me a few months (if not longer) now.

 

Only bummer about the new Mae repressing is that it is using the original masters, no re-mastering for vinyl. I'm sure it will still sound good though.

 

Never could get into them.

BUT, my Bright Eyes box set was delivered today and it is absolutely gorgeous. Very well done. A lot of work went into these. Can't wait to hear how they sound.

Caspian's new 2 song EP.

 

I haven't received an update since last Friday. Says the shipment is still stuck in Jersey City. What is the best move? Call the record label to handle it or complain to USPS?

 

I love this release so much.

 

My copies of Instigator (cream w/ red splatter) and Instigator (tar-colored black) showed up today. Love how one of those Pogolith Issues were sent with orders. Those things are really cool. I wish I had a scanner to scan those pages.

 

Snagged spoon's They Want My Soul, 22 A Million, Angel Olsen'S My Woman and Amnesiac at my local shop's weekend sale. Hell yeah.

 

Is tar colored black just black?

 

Traded in some old junk for store credit and snagged Sigur Ros - Takk and Bon Iver - 22 for free.

 

It's hard to tell. It looks like it might have some funky looking "oil swirls" throughout it. They don't jump out or anything, but it's hard to tell.

 

I'd probably go to the record label first. They might be able to get it moving. When you look at the tracking info and select the status for more info, does it say that it's on it's way to the destination?
