The tour exclusive is not up on their website. It's a different variant. It's clear marble.

I understood the "for now" part to mean that any leftovers would be put online.

I finally found a copy of Clarity (10 Year Anniversary Edition) on vinyl. Hadn't bought one yet because I owned the clear repress, but I sold it some time back in hopes of purchasing the anniversary edition. I got it for $35 shipped, which was really exciting.

Should be here on Monday along with A Moon Shaped Pool [Special Edition].

Yep I did. I have to cancel my first order now, so hopefully that refund won't take forever to go through.

But I thought you said you were waiting?

I was going to wait, but I suppose our conversation convinced me otherwise, haha.

Ordered Still Searching. Just need the Fire now and I'll have everything sans the EP, which I don't think was ever pressed (?)

My haul for the week. Yay Ebay sales! Got all six for $45.

  12. From Depths to Dreams was pressed on brown marble. Think I got it for $8 on drive-thru records' site back in the day.

    Two questions about this:
    1) What makes this happen? The weight of the vinyl is at the bottom, yet I only ever see this type of damage at the top.
    2) Are there any fixes for something like this? Like a way to "restore" it?

It's called a seam-split. Normally it's caused from the movement of records in the sleeve. Pressure from the record sliding could also do it too.

A lot of people who purchase used records will asked for their records to be shipped outside of the sleeve to prevent just that.

It's pretty common. Though it does suck when it happena.

Thanks bud, been wondering what it's actually referred to as. It still seems weird it happens on the top and not the bottom to me! :x In this picture's case, this was the Over The Garden Wall OST that Mondo just put out. Luckily they had some extra jackets so they are sending me just a jacket which hopefully I'll get here shortly. Also that's a good idea about the used vinyl thing. I just bought a used Interpol LP that suffered from the same thing. Maybe it happened in shipping, maybe not, but that is a really good idea to just request that in the future.

  20. Got the special edition Radiohead in the mail and picked up Bon Iver at the shop today. Not a bad vinyl Saturday.

  21. I like them both, the marble one is less expensive so I'll go with that.

I'll write you into all of my songs Supporter

So I just bought my first vinyl last night (Bon Iver's 22, A Million) and am getting my own player after listening to it on my friend's setup.

Question is: is it worth it to get heavier music (DGD, Botch, Dillinger, etc.) on vinyl, or would I be able to notice more of a difference with more sparse music (Sufjan Stevens, BI, The 1975). Just wondering how I should be allocating my purchases and what you guys have noticed after listening to both styles.

Thinking about getting that cream/red splatter. But I'm having difficulty following through with the purchase. When this record came out, I used to love it. I listened to it all the time. Even for years after. But now, I find myself never listening to it. If I want to listen to Senses Fail, I normally throw on Still Searching, The Fire, or Renacer. Let It Enfold You just doesn't effect me anymore, at 27 years old.
