Oh sweet lord, I hope that's a large typo (that you received)

right now, my upcoming preorders include (counting releases from the first part of the year not yet available on vinyl):

    - Heavenward - Pyrophonics
    - Princess Goes (Michael C. Hall's band) - Come of Age
    - Citizen - Calling the Dogs
    - represses of Sundowning and TPWBYT by Sleep Token
    - Anberlin - Convinced

holding out hope for a couple anniversary pressings (Paramore, Beyoncé), and i will fight Mondo to the death for That Thing You Do! (assuming their remaining staff is still planning to release it)

Caroline Polachek drops next week at least tentatively! That album is ridiculous! I hope some Chairlift gets repressed one day.

TMBG "Lincoln" was on Bandbox a few months ago, it's sold out now.

Thought of some other albums from 2013 that would be cool to see

Brave Bird - Maybe You, No One Else Worth It
    Crash of Rhinos - Knots
    Deafheaven - Sunbather
Mac Miller - Watching Movies With the Sound Off
    Kid Cudi - Indicud
    Unknown Mortal Orchestra - II
    Baths - Obsidian
Boards of Canada - Tomorrow's Harvest (tho I think all their records recently got repressed)

Yes! Thanks mang - that blue and white looked beautiful - however, I am the proud papa of an original pressing and the red reissue. (TMBG are my "anything goes" band. They're the only ones where I've allowed myself to go apeshirt over their releases.)

Speaking of the GOB presses, anyone know if they are available for sale in the US?

Possibly. It's apparently Dine Alone who's handling the releases, along with Say anything "Baseball".

literally just got the OG mix as a birthday gift from my partner, lmao. wonder how different the two versions will sound. if it's night and day, i'd consider picking it up down the line, but i'm good with my current copy for now.

We reach for the longest shadow

One of the songs is up on streaming. I'm not familiar enough with the OG recording to say one way or the other though.

EDIT: Definitely seems like some of the "gaze" is scaled back. You can hear George better, and the guitars are higher in the mix while the drums are scaled back slightly. It takes away from the aesthetic I think that people connected with, but it does technically sound better, IMO. As a casual fan I think I like it better.

Man that is a mid 2000s emo tour if I’ve ever seen one.

i can hear that. that moment at the 11:50 mark on Vertigo is my favorite moment on the entire album, and while part of the mix sounds more grandiose here, other elements sound subdued (interestingly, the only element from the drums that really sounds clearer are the cymbals). i think i'll at least wait until the full album is out and do a side by side comparison to see which one i like better before purchasing the vinyl.
