Yup same. I was home with my wife and my first kid who was 4 months old. I ordered Ixora on vinyl as soon as it went up!

Parting Gift did this album during the pandemic. I am not sure if another pressing is being done anytime soon, but I know that he has been doing some represses with Saves The Day and Rufio. I'd imagine they will at some point, but I haven't heard anything specifically on that one.

From what they said back when it was repressed, it sounded like it would be a long while until that got another pressing. That thing sold out in like a minute.

Anyone ever ordered from Walmart online? Is their stuff decently handled? They have Turnstile's "Time and Space" for $20 shipped right now.

 

I ordered the Alice In Chains - Dirt Red-colored vinyl and it was well-packed and arrived in mint condition. I'd imagine if it arrives in a condition that's not up to your liking, it should be fairly easy for Walmart to send a replacement.

 

conversely, i ordered the WandaVision soundtrack from them a long time ago and it came in with massive seam splits and a flimsy mailer. my hope is that this was a thing of the past and they can better handle packaging records.

 

I know it's a little more, but I would definitely trust this shop. Looks to be around $32 shipped.

Yeah I'm listening to the original recording, I've definitely got to be in a certain mood to do the reimagined album ... But I feel you, it kills me inside just a little.

This has been years in the making (at least for the first 2 lps) the Earth Analog press of Downward is Hevenward is one of my best sounding albums hands down... I'm so stoked!
