Urban Outfitters has some new exclusive variants of all the Justin Timberlake albums

Anyone have anything bad to say about Urban Outfitter vinyl? Been slowly and steadily collecting as of the past year and I’ve seen complaints about Walmart & Target vinyl but don’t recall what the hate was regarding

 

went a little nuts today.. whooopsies

 

The ones I’ve gotten from UO have been fine. My Green Day Superhits! From Walmart doesn’t sound great, buts it’s a single LP with all those songs squished on there, so I don’t blame Walmart for that.

 

Also my Target stuff has been fine, too.

 

What’s the going rate for Something Corporate’s North these days?

 

According to Discogs last sold for $300

I got mine for $200 last fall. It was listed at just under $400 I think, but I made an offer. They accepted and now I have it. It’s my baby.

That was the yellow. Sky Blue last sold for $250. One is up for $370 some but you can make an offer on it for less.

Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska (I suck at grading records but this is an old old copy with some significant crackle but plays through without skips) - $8

Neil Young - Live Rust (ditto as Nebraska but the spine is also really rough; plays through well tho) - $8

idk what it's like now, but apparently UO's shipping used to be dreadful. lots of reports of damaged goods. in-store, some of the selections have been picked over so much they look damaged (although that can also be said of most big box stores like Walmart, Barnes and Noble, etc. - surprisingly my Target isn't that bad re: exterior damage, although my copy of Tears for Fears' last album was pretty warped). guess i got lucky with my in-store purchase of Petals for Armor at UO, but based on the look of their in-store selection, it's no guarantee they could be in good condition. but that's just my experience, so take it with a grain of salt.

 

One just went for close to 300 CDN on eBay today. I was watching it just for kicks. LTTW went for 450 CDN from the same seller today as well.

Yes. But that doesn’t guarantee everyone who wants one will be able to get that repress.

Wife gave me a budget to spend on some records for Valentine’s Day. Put in a few bids on eBay for a few things I’ve wanted a while. Expecting to lose a few. ALK3’s Crimson I lost very fast, but I’ve now won two and am winning another two.

oops? Silver lining? May finally have picked up a couple I’ve had my eye on forever. Like Kings of Pop.

I got lucky with crimson back in 2021 the band posted some dead stock gold copies of some of their albums and crimson was one of them.

Won Dusk and Summer for 30 bucks. Happy with that one.

 

Nice! I saw that! I was watching the listing for Brandtson "Trying to Figure Each Other Out" then saw all his other gems.

I swear that guy has made a few grand today alone. It says his family needs the money so I respect that.

I grabbed Daytrader and a lesser known band called Euclid from that guy. I almost bid on the Nada Surf Box set. It went for 125 USD... It goes for double that on Discogs.

I kind of regret it but my wife would have my neck haha! Congrats on Homegrown though! One of many albums on my wantlist!
