Great find! I snagged Acceptance - Colliding By Design vinyl LP as well as the cassette version of Spiritbox Eternal Blue.

 

In Indy for the weekend. Going to check out Luna and Indy CD & Vinyl. Any other places I should check out?

Just ordered my U-Turn. Super stoked. New preamp and speakers has already improved the quality so much, can't imagine what the new table is going to sound like.

 

Mine's at my PO box in Western NY along with Life In Your Way and I'm waiting on a few other things before bringing them over the border... I can't wait!

thanks for the tip about Rise. scored the oxblood in coke bottle variant of Colliding By Design, the collector's photobook edition of Transit Blues, and Eternal Blue on cassette for like $20 total (before shipping).

 

Wish more labels did sales like this for their lower-selling releases. There are lots of older albums I would buy if they weren't still charging 30+ dollars for them..

 

Alright, I bit the bullet on the Rise sale. Got Valleyheart, Acceptance, both Make Do and Mend's, The Movielife, TEN photo book...

If you get a chance, hit up a little hole in the wall burger joint just west of downtown called Workingman's Friend. It looks a little rough around the edges when you pull in but the grill is magical. They've got the best smashburger I've had in my life.

Had no idea that devices like that existed but I think the video explains why they’re not popular haha.

The idea of being able to press a button to select a specific track on a vinyl is mind boggling.

 

My noob set up for my apartment:

*I have both a Technics SD-L2 turntable and Technics SB-6060 floor speakers. I believe they're both from 1979 or 1980. They were my dad's and were hardly used for a few decades just staying back in a spare room. Here are some stock photos of each:





*I just run them off a Denon AVR1700 stereo. To my ears, they still sound pretty good but always open for recs.
