Brighten’s album Early Love is being pressed for the first time through Near Mint records.

So awesome! My pipe dream is a vinyl release compiling their three EPs - Early Love, Be Human, and I'll Always Be Around. They're all so great. But I'll gladly take one of the three! Super cool to get any Brighten on vinyl. I'll be adding this to my copy of King vs. Queen for sure!

Yeah, I’d cherish a copy of Be Human for sure. My favorite release of theirs

 

I haven't opened up my copy yet but I'd assume its in-store pricing only.

Anyone have any insider information on the Drive Thru vinyl releases? I thought their socials would be posting more.


Edit: Or The Moon Is Down vinyl? Maybe I'm misremembering but I thought they were supposed to ship in July.

 

Yeah would love some info on Drive Thru. Typical Drive-Thru though announcing shit before they were remotely ready to do so.

 

yeah I'd check stores. Target is probably phasing out exclusives in stores. And yes it did have the slip mat in there!

 

I'm pretty sure the Moon is Down gets shipped on 7/31

Target did a major online sale as well as the clearance in store. We’ll see what they plan on moving forward. They did a similar thing a few years ago, putting a lot of vinyl on clearance at the store level, but from what I remember it was in select target stores, while this one is much more significant.

Meanwhile I'm still waiting on SRC to ship my Enema of the State vinyl that I ordered 6 months ago.

 

SRC is awful and I can't believe they're still allowed to operate lol

 

I've always heard horror stories but never had issues before. Guess my luck finally ran out.

Can't recall the last time I ordered from SRC. It's been years.

 

I pre-ordered Dude Ranch and it says it'll be available in November. So I guess we'll see if that actually happens or not. But I've ordered from SRC a small handful of times and ever had any issues that I can recall.

 

only thing I've ever gotten from SRC is a pressing of Enema of the State years ago that showed up warped to all hell and they wouldn't refund me :) luckily I was able to fix it myself but fuck them
