Missed out on Taylor even though I was #17 in line, but I got Mariah Carey so I’m happy

 

I’m on vacation in Florida but I found a shop close by. Got Wallows & Gambino. Still looking for The Lumineers.

 

Oh wow I thought Little Voice was gonna be standard black.

We think they're all sold out now? Rough Trade's a 20 minute walk from me I may try and run there now.

 

I got the last one at Luna here in Indy around noon - it was only a run of 2850

 

Grabbed a few others and a signed Saint Cloud at Shake It in Cincy. Made up for me having to miss her show here a few weeks ago

 

I say this all the time that Shake It Records is the best record store I’ve ever been too

 

Urgh probably not worth it for me then. Im too sick to be running around town for a record right now lol
I set alerts on a few sites for tomorrow if by some miracle they have leftover copies. I want that Gambino record too but with 18,000 pressed I'm not worried at all

Bought Rex Orange County for my sister and found a used Forget What You Know CD lol

 

Vinyl that will be there for a long time: Childish Gambino and Everlast.

Only thing I got was Foo Fighters. Sadly two songs on a 7 inch cost as much as the Saint Cecilia EP

 

What’s cool about the gambino release is it’s a surprise variant - you’ll either get yellow, blue or blue/yellow split - I wonder if it was pressed equally or if one variant is rarer than the others

God bless the Instagram vinyl community. A collector I follow saw that I was looking for Little Voice and snagged me a copy

 

If anyone is fortunate enough to find an extra copy of the Taylor 7", I'd love to pay you to ship one to me haha

 

Was one away from the Lakes 7” but the person in front of me grabbed the last one.

Still was able to grab the Pornography picture disc (and about five other non-RSD albums I’ve been looking for). All in all, really fun day.

thank you! I was able to get two things I missed yesterday that my shop didn’t have: Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, and Tegan and Sara.

 

No luck finding the Bareilles album, but still a fun day at the record store. Finding a treasure trove of cheap used Billy Joel records was a highlight.
