The last two records I ordered from them also came in bags, and in both instances they no longer had those titles available. I wonder if they intentionally use bags when they're shipping the end of their inventory.

 

I’ve had bad results with Amazon vinyl since the shutdown. I’ve had bags for the most part, one of which was dropped in some kind of puddle bc it was soggy when I got it. I’ve even had the shipping label slapped straight on the record shrink wrap with nothing else. I pretty much use Amazon as a last resort.

 

Anyone have a brush they recommend for cleaning?

 

Like deep cleans or just everyday dust off/antistatic

Haha nice. Yeah it gets the job done and we have awful awful static in our new place this winter

 

I'd say at least half of the vinyl I've bought in the past year has had split seams on the top of the sleeve. It's not a huge deal but kind of annoying. Aren't they supposed to smooth out the record edges so they're not so sharp?

I really regret not grabbing that Photo Album clear pressing. Dropping over $50 on a record right before Xmas was a tough ask though.

Speaking of buying too much vinyl, does anyone on here have that blue pressing of Dude Ranch? New copies are on eBay for $35, and the standard black is back on Amazon for $24. Wondering if either were good sounding pressings

Went to Shuga in Chicago the other day as had never been and could have dropped absolute gobs of money, but ended up with last year's Full Moon Fever pressing (grew up listening to that album on cassette a ton in my dad's car) and 2011 repress of In Your Honor (first Foo record i had ever listened to, gifted to me originally on CD by my cousin for Christmas).Very important albums in my life that i'm a-ok paying up for.

Nice I almost picked up In Your Honor the other week but went home with Nothing Left to Lose instead. Will probably get it next time I go back to that shop tho, also the first Foo album for me

 

I mean it’s mid-90s blink. Can it really sound THAT good?
