The new Walmart exclusives of the Metallica albums that just came out sound pretty damn good

 

Thinking about ordering Master of Puppets and AJFA.

 

Saw the VMP variant of Room on Fire by the Strokes, which sparked me to track down the orange repress from last year from a vendor on Amazon for $25 coming in a week and a half

Conditions’ Fluorescent Youth came in the mail today—got the Orange Crush vinyl /200. Pumped to hear the unreleased track. Bonus black cat in the pic.

Yeah, i’ve pretty much funneled any money I would spend at the bar into vinyl.

 

Totally man. I was about to add the starting line 3x vinyl bundle and the cool white ringer tshirt but unfortunately I’ve been priced out of it. $77 shipping to UK plus a further $35 taxes. Even I can’t justify that.

Hey, does anybody else have a Pro-ject and absolutely despise the dust cover? Mine is not smooth at all; i always end up pushing the turntable or it "pops" mechanically as I'm opening. It's really annoying and i have some friend who's dustcover on other tts are smooth as butter. For being an awesome quality tt, that dust jacket sucks ass...

 

I wondered why I stopped drinking as much, this explains it.

 

I don’t have this problem on mine! Maybe a little WD-40 at the joints could solve the issue?

 

Amazon marketplace is the best. Where else can you order the Strokes' Room on Fire and get a MOV copy of Journey's Greatest Hits?

Edit: Just bought a 180g copy on Discogs from someone in Australia, so hopefully I don't get another Journey record (nothing against Journey)

 

Probably going to be putting up a lot of vinyl for sale soon if anyone is interested. I’m just completely running out of room.
