Landed my most sought after vinyl album

 

Beautiful! There’s no better feeling than finally grabbing the one you’ve been waiting for. This album was my first ever record (in black), and I didn’t even know this existed.

 

Yeah I have the black anniversary edition and it’s so great. Had the choice to buy the bout when it was first available to PO, but it was like $10 more and I was more than happy with the standard.

 

I’m so happy it’s the deluxe 10 yr anniversary too

 

Yeah! I have always wanted this album, it’s one of my all time favorites and a very personal one to me. But I only started record collecting in 2018, and it’s long been sold out and price gouged since then. I found someone in discogs who worked with me to make it affordable though finally

Got this beauty in the mail the other day. I love the red with black color.

 

I have the deluxe edition of that one that just takes up hella space on my shelf lol. Sick album though. Didn't think anyone could top Ben Kohler's drumming but David from Pianos went off.

 

Nice! And I agree, the drumming on this album is amazing.

 

I also have the deluxe but have never listened to it. I’d much prefer the red and black these days haha

 

Yeah the deluxe is a pain in the ass to listen to. I bought the regular version for listening purposes lol.

 

The deluxe looks cool but I would rather have to just flip the record once when listening to the whole album instead of flipping and swapping 7"s. I might just be lazy though.

 

Sold my deluxe a while back for a standard black. The red splatter is sick though.

It makes me sad to see the secondary prices for Frightened Rabbit albums and makes me so bummed that I never picked any of their albums up on vinyl when I had the chance.

Since I'm unable to go to my local record store, I've been buying records from their discogs page. Got this one in the mail today!
