  1. There were plenty at the FYE in our mall. That's where my roommate got his.

Looks like they ran out of stock for a little bit. Explains why it wasn't there for me but should be for you.

    Someday I’ll find me Prestigious

Today is the day that my Debut Carbon comes in. Part of me wants to hook everything up tonight, but the only space I currently have to set it up with is a kitchen counter (albeit, outlying counter space).

Edit: Friend just sent me this picture, mine is the one in the upper left.

Edit 2: Scratch that. Mine is the one on the bottom on the other side of the pallet, here:

I wasn't gonna take any chances! Lol I bought it anyway, but if I had to cut something for cost on RSD, it was gonna be the first thing to go.

Also, how are you guys uploading pics? I was using imgur, but I hate that it has that layout window on it.

That's part of my beef with RSD.

Either the stuff that comes out is made in such a large quantity that it doesn't really matter or it's made in such a limited quantity that only the flippers get them.

Fortunately and unfortunately the nearest record store is 300 miles away. I've still managed to score some cool RSD leftovers without dealing with the crowds.

I was holding my phone vertically, it doesn't display the options.

    Horizontally it does though.

What type of protective outer sleeves/slipcase does everyone use? I've just been using these generic kind I get from the record store for 10 cents a piece. They are surprisingly well made though, so I haven't really needed to search for any other kinds. Not sure what thickness they are though, what mil don you use?

Also, does anyone buy any special inner sleeves?

I use these ones. They're not super thick, but I have yet to tear one.

Good luck! I have this weird dream where I sell off my record and stereo collection to fund a camper van trip through Canada.

a burst and I'm awake now Supporter

Personally, I love the Japanese-style resealable record sleeves like these ones here: Japanese Resealable Vinyl LP Outer Sleeves (100) at Music Direct. Never bothered replacing the inner sleeves but I know some collectors favour the heavier weight black paper inner sleeves.

I've just been using the same generic sleeves as the guy who posted (^), I think they're the same as the ones I buy from my local stores. I'm always OCD about them, and regularly change out old ones that may have came on an album I purchased, especially if they're not uniform to all the others in my collection.

I've been meaning look into serious ones, but it's gonna be a lot of work to change them all out.

Ooh I really like those. It's nice when new records come with those.
Yeah that's basically why I haven't bothered looking for different ones yet too. I have roughly 200 records and that's a lot of time and even more money I don't really have to spend. But have been thinking about it none

Didn't get my Debut Carbon yesterday, as my friend forgot it next to her desk. I'm bummed, don't really know when exactly I'll get it now. Today and tomorrow are crazy busy days of the week for me. Hopefully we can arrange something, because I want to play with my new toy.

    Noobie

i spend way too much money on vinyl and need to get my shit together and send my ATH-LP60 back to amazon for an actual good record player (probably UTURN Orbit, though I kinda like the automatic aspects of the LP120)

Apparently these outer sleeves are the way to go. It looks like using these would be a hell of a lot easier than the standard paper sleeves.

    Mobile Fidelity - Inner Sleeves (50Pk) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001LQSFKY/?tag=absolutepunk-20

In addition to ordering those, I think I might order a pack of these as well for my 7" collection:

7 Inch Diskeeper 45 Round Bottom Inner Sleeve (50 Pack) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HS3Y6AM/?tag=absolutepunk-20

I really like the idea of the rounded edge because a lot of 7"s can be really difficult to slide back in the jacket.

I picked up the newest Turnstile record last night and was so pleasantly surprised. I wasn't expecting a booklet and I love the layout.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed that. I hate taking 7" out.

I have some really old Minor Threat and Earth Crisis 7" that just have a piece of printer paper for the sleeve.

Those DIY punk records had it figured out.

I like the 7" that are just folded slip covers. Seems more what a 7" should be than a nice cardstock cover.

The MoFi inner sleeves are great, and they save you from using the printed inner sleeves and possibly tearing them up.

    Recommended forever.
