same, went with fishbowl blue. you? I had already gotten the question variant from 2015 from that ebay link I found. sort of bummed I did that now but whatever.

 

Going with the yellow even though it doesn’t match ha. Just want something different. Picked up The Question when it was for sale at HT luckily so I don’t have to worry about that one. I wouldn’t mind if their other releases got pressed too.

I got into vinyl a couple of years ago, have 50something records. None of my records were bought used. It feels like most of the records have at best a slight warp. Doesn’t seem to affect the sound much if at all (some have some surface noise but no skipping or anything) but watching the tonearm move more than it should drives me nuts.

My records are stored vertically. Probably at an 85 degree angle or so. When I try completely 90 degrees they tend to fall.

I think this hobby is just an anxiety inducer for me.

 

It is absolutely an anxiety inducer for me too. Don’t overpack your shelves and I recommend having a separate shelf/cube for box sets and what not so too much weight isn’t laying on another record.

 

I think I’m gonna try to install shelf dividers in my record stand so mine aren’t leaning on each other as much

 

Should this cause any problems? Because it seems to be!

 

A little late on the Tooth & Nail repress quality discussion but my The Moon is Down repress from them sounds pretty ehhhhh...but then again, the production on that album is just bad to begin with haha.

 

Those actually look alright. Although it probably wouldn’t hurt to halve each shelf and lay the other half against the other side.

 

This has me worried about my own stacks. I just moved and have to re-assemble everything in the new apartment. I haven't noticed anything warped (yet), but will definitely do this.

Will take pictures of my new set up and share with the forum!

 

I have a great shelf for storing but its filling up... fast. lol

 

I have no idea what to do about them leaning against each other

 

I’ve put like a container or something in the empty space to keep everything propped up with seems to work. Even if you’ve got like an empty shoebox I think it would probably help.

 

Now I’m super worried my collection is ruined forever lmao
