Hey if you have not heard of them, check out Wax Bodega. They're a record store in Lakewood, Ohio. I've befriended the owners. They're awesome people and Josh from The Wonder Years are business partners with them. They have exclusive variants, monthly subscriptions comparable to Vinyl Me Please. Kyle used to work for Glamour Kills/ Alt Press. I've been using their vinyl subscription and I love it. I got Firework's Gospel & Title Fight's Hyperview this month. Trophy Eye's Chemical Miracle & Microwave's Much Love last month.

Nice find! I've been wanting to pick up this and Make Yourself for a while but I can't seem to find them anywhere for less than $25-$30.

 

I have a copy of SF, limited and still sealed. If anyone wants it, PM me, no judgments, I just don’t personally want it anymore.

 

album clicked so fucking hard for me after a breakup and I hate that I didn’t appreciate it the one day it was available for a relatively normal price haha

Weird that it has a different track listing though... It's missing a few of the big singles, and has a few different tracks replacing them. Hmmmm not sure if my girlfriend will be as stoked about this without it having "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You" or "I Drive Myself Crazy."

Man, same. I've had no Incubus in my collection until now cause I just can't justify spending like 32.99 on records that aren't like super limited or rare. Jumped on this one immediately haha

 

Same here (not a break up, but a similar situation)! I do feel silly paying so much for it, but it's one of my favorites of the past few years.
I did order the Endless vinyl + VHS. I'm interested in giving it a listen finally.

 

So I finally got my Science Fiction limited edition vinyl and everyone is right- shit is a goddamn joke. Shoddy craftsmanship and idiotic design/concept.

On the bright side, my Private Lives vinyl (Nate from finch’s new band) came in from when I backed them on Pledgemusic earlier this year.

 

yeah, the Brand New limited edish vinyl is crazy. it's got some *cool stuff in it, but overall, it's just taking up way too much space on my shelf.

I know this is mostly being posted in the Thrice thread, but The Alchemy Index box set is starting to arrive.

The packaging is amazing, and sounds great too!

 

Mine came in on Saturday. Haven’t had a chance to spin it yet, but yeah the presentation is amazing.

Urban Outfitters is having a 20% off sale on vinyl, it looks like. I just ordered the NSync Christmas album. Because of the sale, I paid more for shipping so it'll get here before Christmas. The girlfriend will be so stoked! The neighbors, probably not so much, haha.

 

I wish I didn’t open it cause I would maybe sell it but what the fuck was with the envelope of potpourri? Lolol ugh

 

yeah, i ended up throwing the potpourri away because it stunk, which now makes my opened record even less valuable, haha... i'm tempted to just give it to one of my brothers for christmas or something. i really don't even like the album, so i literally will never listen to it.

 

Yeah I went back and forth on opening it... only to say fuck it so now I’m mad at myself. Would have sold it online but opened? It’ll be worth nothing.

Science Fiction is actually my album of the year personally. Not speaking to all the unfortunate news that came out but just to the music? This record means a lot to me. Even with that said, this special limited edition is trash. I’ll probably end up buying the standard edition and selling this. Like you said- it takes wayyyy too much room up. The only record that takes up as much room on my shelf is the special edition Bad Books II book but that’s much more worthy (design/concept) wise.

 

I’m wondering if Britney Spears will go back on sale. Hate I missed it.
