Looks like Tooth and Nail are running 50% off vinyl from their web store this weekend.

 

I got it yesterday.

 

Thanks. Got the Rush 7”. Pretty much all I wanted this year.

 

I'm jealous. I really wanted I and II.

 

So I went on their site at 9:26am and by mistake they had the vinyl up (it wasn’t supposed to go live till 10:00am) so I quickly grabbed it before it was taken down. By 10:02am it was sold out.

I lucked out. Shit was pricey though- $30 each plus about $10 for shipping.

 

I am very poor. Considering selling a couple vinyl that I have that might be worth something? Thought y’all might be able to help me out.

The only two that I think could sell are my Circa Survive - On Letting Go picture disc (opened but never played) and Underoath - Lost In The Sound of Separation (1st pressing, unopened). Thoughts? Couldn’t find much info on Ebay or Amazon

 

What is the variant for Lost In the Sound? I spent $50 on my copy, it’s probably worth more now.

 

The LITSOS vinyl are shaped like chainsaw blade yeah? If so, might be worth a solid amount!

Also if so, let me know how much you end up wanting to put it up for! Might be interested

 

It's just the standard version, not the saw blade. but I'm not sure what color it is, as far as I can tell it doesn't say anything and I don't want to open it

 

You could probably find out the variant if you searched the code on discogs!

As for Circa, there is only one for sale on Discogs and it's $299, but that's way overpriced. The highest it has sold on there is $190. I'd probably at least try for $170. As for Underoath, I'm still trying to figure out the variant, but it seems like $60ish is the mean.

Anyone with the LP120 use a separate preamp? How much difference does it make?

I've always been of the mind that vinyl doesn't have any advantage over hi-res digital from a pure audio standpoint, but have collected some LPs of my favorite albums anyway the past few years. Finally broke down and grabbed the 120 on a BF deal this weekend. Going through the integrated preamp, it's honestly even more disappointing than I expected - so freaking dark and truncated on the high end, compared to playing digital files of the same songs (I prefer my audio "bright," to be fair). Maybe even a $50 preamp would make a big difference, but I'm kinda wondering if this just isn't for me.

 

How much did you get it on BF? I have the same model and I use the integrated preamp with the krk rokit 5 speakers and it sounds great to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Too much for me, I’d possibly by interested at $120.

Also, how is alchemy index still available? What’s the pressing out of?
