    Really dumb question - are test pressings that are for sale always the master that was used? Or are some test pressings like, the shittier ones that didn’t meet standards?

    wondering the same thing. i guess i fail to see the value in them vs. the version with all the artwork, etc.

    They are more often than not the version that has been approved and sent out for mass distribution. The value in them is that they usually are less than 25 of these made, making it usually the rarest of the pressings.
