    Astral Chain is so weird for a Nintendo exclusive IP. I feel like it came out of nowhere, had great reception when it was released, but hasn’t been brought up since then.

    Tales of Graces Remastered came out yesterday. Maybe it’ll be my first Tales game…

    Hmmm. Are you hoping for a good story? Or care about just gameplay? I think Graces has the best battle system of all Tales games (they change from game to game) but the story was bad even back in the PS3 and Wii days.

    If you want the best of what the franchise has to offer I'd highly suggest Vesperia, Berseria or Symphonia. Vesperia has a great battle system too and serviceable story, came out for the 360 but later got remastered for the next generation of consoles. Berseria has a fantastic story and fun battle system and came out last gen. Symphonia was originally a GameCube game but has been ported and remastered every gen lol.

    Ah ok, maybe I’ll go with Symphonia. I heard good things about it when I was a kid.

    Eh I think it's average imo in general, but when I compare to the other Tales games that were out at the same time I think Xillia was the standout and Abyss was also a great showing but sadly those games aren't available unless you have a PS3/3DS. But I DO feel it's a great game simply for the gameplay and one should play it to experience that.....I just think I'd you want a FIRST Tales game you can do much much better to get an idea of what the franchise has to offer in both story and gameplay.

    With this game being the first of the Remasters, I really hope they're working on bringing the older games that aren't available to current gen systems. Those games are very much worth it.
