Mixtape mode?

 

I’ve been thinking about re installing Apex

 

Isn’t that what it is called? The non-BR mode where they rotate Gun Run, Team Deathmatch etc.

 

Oh I’m not saying you’re wrong lol. Just not a mode i was aware existed is all. I have been on hiatus and was curious what it meant but that’s what I figured

 

It’s really fun. It’s wild how much better I am without the psychological pressure of BR, haha.

 

AW2, Rift Apart, and Dead Space Remake are such good games.

Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel II.

I'm in the last part of Act I. I just got Laura and Emma back in my party, leaving Jusis as the last remaining member of Class VII to locate.

I do like how this whole Act of the story is giving me real FFVI World Of Ruin vibes, as you're basically locating your lost classmates and bringing them back into the fold after everyone separated at the end of the last game.

The only thing I dislike is that I'm once again forced to pick and choose who to bring with me on each leg, as besides the members of Class VII, I have three other folks to choose from, and each section so far is forcing me to take one of those three and only two other Class VII members, to make room for any new people I pick up.

I assume once I get everybody, I'll be more free with who I can have in my party, but that's not really helping the situation as my beef remains the same as it ever was: I hate missing out on any story beats or flavor dialogue by leaving someone behind.

The Crossbell games made it fairly easy to bring everyone worthwhile, and Cold Steel solved the problem by forcing you to bring specific people during each field trip, but no such luck here.

All I can do is try to bring the people I think will be most entertaining for the story. For example, since I knew I was locating Laura, I brought Fie along, cause I know they bonded in the last game.

Anyway, I work tomorrow, so at the very least maybe I'll be able to finish Act I? Maybe not. The good thing is that with the holidays coming up, I'll have a couple three-day weekends to be able to really tackle this game.

Apparently an Irish child actor with the same name died over the weekend and Kevin Dillon's posted his unconfirmed assumption? Hopefully gets cleared up soon.

Finished Cyberpunk over the weekend. It was mostly fine. Still had side quests that never popped because people won’t call to activate them which is annoying.

Finally started Demon’s Souls.

 

Post's still up too. If they are friends I have to imagine it's accurate. Just odd that there's not been a formal announcement yet if it is true.

 

People on Reddit are pointing out that the kid's last name is spelled differently. I feel like it's massive copium to think that this is a mistake.

 

Reckon so too, hard to believe he'd just see a similar name in a news story and post this. Hopefully we get some kind of confirmation either way soon enough.

 

TMZ running the story now and apparently have confirmation from one of his reps. Damn, R.I.P.

 

Uh okay may have to get a VR headset for this Asgards Wrath game that just came out

 

Asgard's Wrath 1 was awful fwiw and no actual person I know in real-life enjoys AW2 either.

however, the best rogue I ever played is on VR, so...

Years late to Ori, but Blind Forest and Will of the Wisps are on sale for Switch at the moment. For someone who hasn't played, am I better off going right to WW or should I play Blind Forest first?
