I cold turkey quit and am full time on rivals. It's so so so much fun. Haven't felt this way since pre-goats ow.

If anyone is excited for the new naughty dog game Intergalactic, be careful out there. It could all be totally false, but the plot has apparently been leaked, and because people froth at the mouth for any chance to hate Neil it's being posted in a lot of gaming adjacent places. I accidently read what I hope doesn't turn out to be a major plot point as I'll be pissed but it is what it is as this point. I'll try to forget in the next few years.

I have since been calmed down and told that they're most likely fake, but still, I just want to enjoy looking forward to a game, discussing it, and getting teases from the developer at their own pace and in their own way without a bunch of nonsense.

 

Man, I loved Viewtiful Joe! Those side scroller games were my jam for a minute.

I loved Alien Hominid too (which looks to be available on steam so maybe I'll get that for nostalgia).

 

same here. Rivals has been fun, but some small frustrations in team comp that will be served as people become more familiar with the game.

So far I've been maining Magneto, Magik, Mantis, and Rocket Rocket Racoon. I was having issues with my steam deck and not being able to play more than one game without it crashing, but figured out to fix it. Comp seems less toxic so far, but we'll see how long that lasts.

 

i realllly hate anything pvp but the skins for the girlies in Rivals are sooo cute

 

I logged in on Xbox, got a notification for a Battlefield 1 deal. Took a look at it and it was free. Didn't know why that happened when I made my post but now I do. You get it for free if you're subscribed to either Game Pass Ultimate or EA Play. All the DLC comes with it too. The deal is apparently only for today though.

 

i'm trying to not spend $20 on Magik's christmas skin lol
