I started pc gaming with kbm playing Neverwinter Nights, Unreal Tournament. Made the switch to controller relatively recently for stuff like Hades and Dead Cells. I still prefer kbm for fps (Borderlands series, the two new Doom games), but strangely controller for 3rd person shooter (new Tomb Raider trilogy, Horizon Zero Dawn). I don't think I've tried something like Dragon Age with a controller
