Player's Log: Trails of Cold Steel.

I'm in the second day of Chapter 6's Field Study, and I feel confident I can probably finish this off tomorrow. Wednesday at the latest, and even then it would just be a little bit, so I could still start Cold Steel II.

The worst is behind me achievement-wise. The cancel arts achievement was simpler than I thought, as I just needed to find boss battles where the boss summons mobs and then just keep forefeiting my turn until the mobs tried to cast an art. Then I cancelled their ass. Took two boss battles to take me most of the way.

The only achievements I have left are two for beating the game on Nightmare, one for collecting all the books (missing only one), one for getting all the master quartz (missing only one), the two final bonding achievements, and the one for getting all the other achievements. Easy peasy.

 

Wow I’ve never attempted a block build and now I must.

Block and poison were the two I did the most. What does everyone use the most?

 

Sorry to burst y'alls bubble on the block build, but Blur is a green card, not a red one. You can't combine it with Body Slam unless you pulled some question-mark fuckery like where you exchange for a card in a hole in the wall

Thanks for this. I was thinking of posting something similar, but you really said it all. Not only have I seen so many things that used to mean a lot to me (even if they are trivial) disappear, but more often then not I have also seem them crumble for way too long before that, which sucks just as much if not more. That’s really one of the lame things about getting older.

i played many hours of re5 but never finished it. and it came out back when i actually finished games. it was pretty good but a disappointment for sure compared to 4.
