Rolled credits on Echoes of Wisdom. It was a fun conceptual reimagining of a traditional Zelda game but felt like the puzzle solving ended up feelintg samey and simplistic in the end considering how many different echoes you get. Still really enjoyed it, and now I'm back to working through Visions of Mana with some Pepper Grinder on the side.

i usually wait until the game is $20, unless it has dlc in which case i wait for the complete edition to be $20, which can take a few years. i have too many games i haven't gotten to yet, i can wait for a sale to play something, unless it's a high priority for me.

 

Been wanting to get back into WoW but don't have anyone to play with womp womp.

 

I’ve been itching to play some older ps2 games mostly the sports one so I ended up re-downloading the GTA definitive trilogy to see if the improvements got a lot better.

 

Downloaded the veilguard on the steam deck. Runs pretty well, okay graphically I guess but not super important to me.

 

I find classic Wow so much more rewarding than modern. Taking forever to level and the slow long travel has been surprisingly enjoyable to me.


You level so fast in modern and get mounts early on too. You get too spoiled too quickly

 

every time a game runs perfectly well on Steam Deck not releasing on the almost 200 milli install base of PS4 and Xbox One gets more and more inexcusable.

 

literally every brain dead argument about last gen holding back current gen died when the PC port of Rift Apart ran on the most potato of PCs.

the only things gamers love more than a false sense of superiority is heaping giant mountains of trash into landfills.

 

I feel like it only strongly applied (in recent times) to the PS3, but I'm also not a dev and don't know a lot about it. Just what I've heard about the process of developing for PS3 specifically in comparison to PS4/others. Today the differences are so minute that yeah you can develop for PS4/XBO without any problem

 

the PS3 has like 50 cores so yeah it's a pain in the ass to develop for. but once you get the hang of it *whew*

Enotria finally got its big November update and... I'll be honest, I was ready to put it down after the first 10 minutes, the intro absolutely stinks.

but then... wow. the more I play the more I like it. It's the most out there soulslike I've ever played. It relies heavily on parries, staggering and status effects.
