I started TCG Card Shop Simulator on deck as a "before bed" game and I love the idea of a card shop that sprays deodorant at customers

It's a ridiculous game and I don't really know WHY I'm having fun with it because on paper it's a drag but I am

 

That game looks great so does pc builder simulator where you run a pc shop

Speaking of MV’s, I picked up Aeterna Noctis on sale and I have to say it’s not clicking with me just yet. Something about the platforming feels off to me and the map is MASSIVE in a way that feels overwhelming

my colleagues on the blog got mad when I did this with a Mumford and sons review but it was just a selfie of me with two middle fingers up. I wasn’t even the one who posted it but I clearly green lighted it because the author used my picture lol

 

Finished Veilguard. The first and last ten hours are awesome. But man, how pointless was mostly everything in between. The more I played the more I felt the remnants of the live service game. How hollow a lot of the gameplay loop is, the faction points, the awkward boss spawns likely meant to be farmed. And my god, how many times I had to travel somewhere to have a conversation, travel somewhere else, do it all over again for 20+ hours.

Rook was essentially a therapist (bad one at that) to the dumbest stuff the companions had to deal with. You are essentially conflict resolution to a kindergarten class. Barring Davrin and Emmerich, pretty much all the companion stories were insanely dull. If they put the effort into the beginning and endings it could have been really cool. It tried so hard to have the ME2 structure but just flopped on that so hard. Honestly a shame because there are glimmers of something great here, just drowned by some of the most bland stuff I have ever seen.

 

Been playing Balatro again and it feels good

 

so Sundered is available as part of a Thunder Lotus bundle along with Jotun and Spiritfarer...

um, y'all forgot to mention they did Spiritfarer?!?! i fuckin love that game. of course I'm gonna get Sundered--hell, I'll get the whole bundle, and since I already have one of them I'm getting the other two for less than five bucks

oh that's not a disservice to the game. Its fantastic. Can't wait to play Lake House DLC after finishing up AW:2

Nine Sols is coming to gamepass, heavily recommend it to anyone who likes metroidvanias, it's a sekiro type parrying combat system thats terrific

 

First day playing Balatro again in months and FINALLY completed my first run, I stopped playing because I felt like I sucked at the game, Idk what happened but my brain figured out how to play and I'm crushing it now.

 

when you start to take a less is more approach to deck building Balatro really becomes something else entirely

 

I recently played a run with only two jokers and it was a really weird feeling. But also lots of fun.
