Kushala Daora in Mh World is EASILY THE WORST FIGHT OF ALL TIME IN MONSTER HUNTER HOLY FUCK WHAT A DUMB FIGHT

 

Credits finally rolled in veilguard at.....80+ hours. Got the true ending, now to go grab the secret ending. Didn't platinum it but got like 90% of everything done and collected/beat.

Solid effort, looking forward to the next ME and DA. Hopefully they build off what worked here and realize where they can either improve or outright replace.

 

Stalker 2 with a 139gb patch before it even releases. lol

 

The hype I had for this game as a 5th grade Nintendo Power reader was insane. The disappointment when I finally played it was gigantic.

Sony buying up Kadokawa? Gives them more anime and From Software.

 

This would be a pretty huge acquisition for them. It's clearly not just about games. They want to corner the market on anime and strengthen their business especially since they've been spending so much in the game department and taking a lot of staff and financial losses.

I think it’s worth that price imo, I had fun with it. Definitely more MV than rogue. My main gripes with it were that the procedurally generated areas really didn’t add much that was interesting for me and for some of the boss fights are so big that your character is tiny and sort of hard to maneuver

 

souls games are kinda Metroid vanias

 

Especially like Jedi Fallen Order / Survivor where you are able to reach new areas with new abilities. I think that tips those games farther towards MV than like, Dark Souls or something.

 

Souls games don't really give you new abilities past the first hour mark, the Jedi games are explicitly Metroid-likes tho.

I'd give you guys a Jake length essay why I think Metroidvania is a total misnomer but I am also in a meeting currently.
